就活始めて5週間

撤退することになりそうです。

シンガポールに入って、最初はいい調子でした。まず場慣れのために仕事を絞らず、面接を受け、3社中内定2社。

結果に安心して仕事を海外営業職に絞って受けたら、面接までいったのが6社で内定0社。その内、結果がまだ出ていないのが2社ありますが、今出ていないって事はほぼアウトってことなんで、その後の身の振り方を検討中。

年末に掛けて求人は減っている上、生活費もそんなに安くない（もちろん日本よりは安いが他の東南アジア諸国に比べると倍ぐらいします）。

なにより、こっちで日本人を募集しているのは日系企業がほとんどなんで、あんまり日本と差が無い。ってことで、少し東南アジアを旅行して、日本で普通に就活しようと思っています。かなり大変だと思いますが、選択肢が他にありません。

正直、目標を達成できずに日本に帰るのはめちゃくちゃ悔しいです。

中国も考えましたが、中国の現地採用にはあまり興味が持てません。第一、あまり中国と言う国を信用していません。

日本人が日本で仕事を探す。

一番当たり前のことに来年はトライしていそうな流れです。

せっかくなんで、前述のイラン人にどこの国が自分に合っているのか後日占ってもらいます。

Five weeks have gone, since I started recruiting

I will give up and leave here soon.

When I started recruiting, it is quite good. I had a couple of interviews. This time I didn't care about job, just I tried to get used to recruiting in here, and I had 2 offer out of 3.

I thought it is not so hard to find job in here, so I started to choose jobs which I wanna do. The result is I had 6 interviews and couldn't pass even one. two of them still haven't send me the results but it means almost failed, that's why I must think next plan.

Because of the new year, not so many companies are looking for worker now and living cost in here is not so cheap(it is cheaper than Japan of course but almost twice as expensive as other South East Countries).

Companies which looking for Japanese are almost Japanese branch companies anyway. There are not so many difference than work in Japan, I think. Now, my plan is to travel South East Countries a bit and go back to Japan and I will look for job in Japan. I am sure it is quite tough to find any job in Japan even harder but no choice.

To be honest, I feel too bad to back Japan with this result. Totally loser I am.

I concerned to recruit in China before, but I am not interested in working in China. I don't trust this country a lot anyway.

One Japanese is looking for job in Japan.

I will do the most ordinary recruitment next year.

I will ask Iran guy(I wrote before) to do prophesy which countries is good for me, by the way.

ゲストハウスでの出来事（就活については週

ゲストハウスには仕事をしていて、朝出て行って夜帰ってくるマレーシアなどのアジア人も数人います。言い方は悪いが知的障害があるのではないかと思われる人（一人で家を借りて追い出されて、ここしか泊まる場所が無いなどの理由らしい）もその中にいます。

同じ部屋にいる皺くちゃなおばあちゃんもそう思われる一人。

朝8時くらいに出て行って、夜11時ごろに帰ってくる。

帰ってくるとシャワーを浴びて、洗面台に痰を吐いて寝る。触れてはいけない空気を十二分に出ているおばあちゃん。

先日、キッチンで日本人の先輩と話をしているとそのおばあちゃんが帰ってきて、

'カー ベッ'

痰を吐いて、シャワーへ

そのシャワーを浴びている間

'○▲×△□○▲×△□○▲×△□'

何か独り言をずっと言っている。

こっちは笑いながら、

"あのおばあちゃん、やばいですよね。何か見えてるんでしょうかね？”

なんて言ってました。

昨日も同じで、帰ってきて痰を吐くおばあちゃん。しかもこっちを見てニヤリ。

この日はキッチンに前述のイラン人と、マレーシア人の労働者と自分。それぞれに違うテーブルに座ってくつろいでいた。

最近ちょっと風邪気味で咳き込んでいた自分が咳をした後に、

'カー ベッ'　こっちを見てニヤリ

（咳から痰を作る流れで"まだまだ子供や”ってことか（別に痰を作っているつもりは無いが、、、））

なんて思っていると、流しに向かって

'○▲×△□○▲×△□○▲×△□'

また何か喋りだした。

3人とも意味がわからない。顔を見合わせる。笑いを堪える。

と、たまたまレセプションのマレーシア人が登場。おばあちゃんは常連客らしく、2人で話が始まる。と、おばあちゃんがこっちをチラッと見る。そして話は続く。


レセプションとの話が終わってベットに行くときにも、キッチンに座っているこっちを見てニヤリ。

後からレセプションに聞いたら、自分が咳をしていたので、咳を聞くたびに良くなるようにおまじないを言ってくれていたとのこと。前にシャワーを浴びているときも、咳が聞こえるたびに言ってくれていたみたい。

『痛いの痛いの飛んでいけー』　って感じ。

そんなだったのに、

"何か見えている”だの"触れるとやばい雰囲気”だの、、、猛烈に反省。

人を判断するのは難しいものです。

でも、

その場にいて、

'あのおばあちゃんはお前のことを思っている。彼女にどうだ'なんて冗談をその後平気で言ってきたイラン人（前述済み）。

お前よりはまし。

The incident in guest house(I'm gonna write about my recruitment for every week, probably)

Some of customers in here is working outside and they go to work in the morning, come back in the evening(Maybe all of them are from Asia. ex Malaysia, etc).

Some of them look like having some handicap in their mind(They stay here because they kicked out a apartment and they don't have other places to stay, I heard from rumor).

The gran ma with many wrinkle in our room is one of them.

Everyday around 8 o'clock in the morning she go out and she come back at 11 pm.

After come back hostel, she takes shower and spits phlegm(from dictionary) out and goes to bed. She looks like one of the anttachable person for me.

One day, when I was talking with my senior, She had come back and spitted phlegm out and took shower.

When she was talking shower, she said something by herself, it is enough long and volume to hear us in the kitchen.

I said to senior "What's going on? Isn't she strange? Can she look something and talk to them??".

Yesterday as well, When she had come back and spitted phlegm out, and looked at me and grinned(from dictionary).

There are 3 people in the kitchen in this time, me, Malaysian guy works in Singapore and Iran guy(I wrote him before). We sit down separately and relaxing one another.

At this moment, I got a cold a bit, so when I coughed, she spitted phlegm out after my cough and looked at me and grinned.

(She imply to me that I am not enough to make phlegm after cough, and she wanna show me she is the champion to make phlegm(I didn't intend to make phlegm though)).

I thought like this and she started to say something to sink.

3 of them don't have any idea what's going on. Looked each other, stifled our laughter(from dictionary)

Then receptionist who from Malaysia happen to come to kitchen. She and he is close enough to talk, so they talked each other for a while. And when they were talking, a couple of times she looked at me.

When she finished talking with receptionist, she grinned to me and went to bed.

After their conversation, I asked receptionist and he explained me that when she heard my cough, she said some kind of pray for me to be better, even when she was taking shower, she did this.

I felt too bad...

I said to my friend "can she see something" and "she looks like attachable", I felt so sorry for her.

It is difficult to distinguish people whether good or not.

But,

the person who stayed in same place and time, and said to me

'That gran ma care for you, you can get a girl friend, just kidding. haha'

I am sure, You are the worst

就活始めて4週間

今年は最低なクリスマスになりそう、、、

なかなかうまくいきません。

先週受けたところで結果が出たところは全滅。今週も面接はほとんど入っていない。

う～ん、どうしよう。

結構、自信あったのに。。。何が悪かった？？？

正直な話、かなり厳しい状況。

何かしら打開策を検討中。また、事後報告で書きます。
 

で、今週は特に面接も無かったので、ゲストハウスに関して書いてみます。

1泊15ドルの安宿だと、いろいろな人が滞在しています。特に長期滞在者（2週間以上）は変わった人が多い（タイとかと比べればごく少数ですが）

・3ヶ月滞在中の休職中の日本人の先輩

・路上パフォーマーの日本人（結構稼いでます）

・もうすぐオーストラリアに旅立つアイルランド人のおじいちゃん

・8ヶ月仕事を探しているトルコ人
－1ヶ月のビザが切れる度に出入国を繰り返すが、同日の入国は止められるらしく、現在3週間マレーシアに滞在中

・貿易の仕事をしているらしく、毎朝オフィスに仕事にスイス人のおじいさん
－アイルランド人のおじいちゃんの予想では政府系の仕事をしていたらしいのでかなりいい年金をもらっているだろうとのこと。下記のイラン人の予想では実はロシアからのスイス移民（英語のアクセントから）で何かしら怪しいことをしているのではないかとのこと

・警察にシンガポールの現状を憂いた投書をしてビザをキャンセルされた自称パナマ人
－かなりの人種差別論者。もちろんなぜそんなことをしたのかは不明。他の国でも入国拒否などの経験があるらしい。大方の見方ではインド人説が有力

・世界で始めて帝国を作った一族の血を引く（らしい）占い師のイラン人
－聖なる書（コーラン）で何でもわかるらしく、仕事探しに悩む自分に'会社の名前を書いたリストをくれれば、どの会社が採用してくれるのか教えてあげる'と言ってくれた。"会社のことを知らんやん”と聞くと、それは必要ないとのこと。社名とリストだけでわかるらしい。ロンドンに家があるとか、インドネシアに奥さんが居てオフィスがあるとか、謎が多い。

その一方で、ある旅行者が彼に'アー ユー ビジター？'と聞き、彼が"アイ アム ツーリスト”と答えたら、旅行者が'オー、 ユー アー トウリスト'と言ったときに、"ノー、 アイ アム ツーリスト。ノット ア テロリスト”と笑顔で返すユーモアも併せ持つ

ちなみに、皆さん英語は達者です。

他にもいろいろ変わった人がいて面白いですが、こんな話は就活の面接で役に立ちません。

ちなみに、何もすることが無く毎日平均7時間は図書館にいる自分も傍から見れば変わっていると思います。

Four weeks have gone, when I started recruiting.

I feel this Christmas will be the worst ever.

Everything does not go well.
I failed all interview so far which I had last week. Moreover I have just a couple of interviews in this week. What should I do. I had a confidence to interviews which I had before.
What is the problem???

To be honest. The situation is pretty tough. I am thinking another idea now, I will write down later.

Last week I had no interview, so I'm gonna write about guesthouse.

There are a lot of unusual people in there because of the low price(15SGD/day), especially, people who stay more than 2 weeks(I'm sure there are more in other South East Asian countries(such as Thailand, etc))

*Japanese senior who is also looking for job in here for 3 months.

*Street performer from Japan(he earn quite good money).

*Grand pa from Ireland who is gonna go to Australia soon.

*Grand pa from Switzerland who does some business which related to shipping and he goes to office every morning.

*The guy from Panama(he said) who send E-mail to police about criticism the situation in Singapore and canceled his visa.
-Strict racist. No one knows why he did this, and I heard he had same experience in other countries before(canceled visa). He might be from India, it is majority guy's opinion.

*The fortunetelling(he said prophesier?) guy from Iran who is the ancestor of the king who built the first Empire in history(he said).
-He can know everything from his holy book, so when I was concerning about job hunting, he said to me 'Just give me the list of companies name, and I'll tell you which company is good for you'. “But you don't know the detail about these companies” 'I don't need any detail, just I need the list of these companies'. I heard he has a house in London, wife and office in Indonesia, he is the mysterious guy.

On the other hand, when tourist asked him

'Are you a visitor?'

“I am a tourist”

'Oh, you are a teorist(not intentionally, just accent problem)'

He replied with smiling,

“No, I am a tourist, not a terrorist”

he also has good humor.

Of course, they are good English speaker.

There are more unusual guests in guesthouse, but this kind of story doesn't work in job interviews, so sad.

I have stayed in library for more than 7 hours everyday, because of nothing to do. Probably it means I am also unusual.
